Yamaha 8" Vintage Tom Drum Wood Hoops - Pair (VH-0805T)

First found on the Yamaha Elvin Jones, Anton Fig, and Akira Jimbo signature snare drums, Yamaha Vintage Wood Hoops are now available for all size drums. Designed to maximize the drum’s tonal characteristics while not interfering with the natural sound qualities produced by the drum. Made of 19 plies of maple, the hoops are coated with a special urethane finish which makes the hoop exceptionally durable. Hoops produce incredible rim shots and an unbelievable side-sticking sound. (These hoops will retrofit with other drum brands, but may require different size tension rods).
