The very elaborate production process of Paiste Masters and Paiste Formula 602 Modern Essentials cymbals, along with the deliberately slight lathing may cause surface irregularities. This method of manufacturing is necessary to achieve the typical sound character of these unique Paiste series. However, the somewhat unusual look does not affect the durability or sound of the cymbals."
