The Dunnett Classic Model 2N Series came about as the result of a few ideas by Ronn Dunnett, but mostly as a personal challenge to himself to test his skill as a drum designer: to build a drum using the beaded / flanged architecture that he preferred more than his Ludwig 400 Supraphonic. That mission has been accomplished! The range of 2N Models offers a modern, updated and much more robust version of the snare drum made famous by drummers like John Bonham. With a choice of higher or lower fundamental pitch provided by the different shell materials and designs in the Dunnett Classic Model 2N Series, you can truly dial in a particular sound and get even more sonic diversity than whats available with vintage or even modern offerings.
