The DW Design Series Maple Drum Set (DDLG2214TB) is crafted with DW's HVLT construction using North American maple wood. The 8-ply shells (snares are 10-ply) feature 1/32" plies with grains alternating horizontally and vertically for classic maple tone and punch with healthy resonance. Design Series shells feature edges that are precision-cut to both 45 degrees (toms) and 60 degrees (bass and snare) and tested on a flat stone for gaps. This drum set features hand-sprayed, wet sanded, and hand-rubbed Tobacco Burst finish that enhance the natural beauty of wood grain through elegant gloss finishes. Additional features include: chrome hardware, matching bass drum hoops, graduated triple-flange hoops, modern telescopic spurs, low-mass mini-Turret Lugs, True-Pitch 30 tension rods, STM Tom mounts, two DSCPBDP2W bass drum pillows, and DW Design Series badges.
