The Core collection is the essence of the JNDC Modern Classic metal snare drum series. This unique collection of drums is available in seamless brass, bronze, and copper. Each shell has the bearing edges and snare beds finished by hand in order to refine and optimize the sonic performance, then bright polished for a glistening and uniform look. The design is intended to provide a raw shell that would patina over time like a fine Turkish cymbal, while affording Joyful Noise customers the most economical opportunity to own and play a Joyful Noise product. Sonically, these snare drums deliver the same exceptional range of color, sensitivity, extended tuning range, explosive power, and unmistakable sound that characterizes the JNDC Modern Classic series. Like all Modern Classic metal snare drums, the Core model design and hardware consists of 2.5mm solid brass bright nickel-plated triple flanged hoops, ten Corder solid brass nickel-plated tube lugs, bell flanged bearing edges, vintage inspired crimped snare beds, and the “One Touch Classic” snare drum strainer system. A certificate of authenticity and serialized lapel badge are included with each instrument.
