The Meinl 12” Wind Gong - Flower Of Life (WGFOL12) is traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. This gong is also known under the name Feng or Sun Gong and has an almost flat shape. This flat shape is known for allowing the gong’s voice to fully open with a wide tonal spectrum and a long sustain. Lower tones are more dominant when played softly, but with more powerful playing the gong opens up nicely and produces wave-like overtones. This gong also features a stunning engraved Flower Of Life symbol in the center. Each gong ships with a beater designed to correspond with the gong size and a soft gong cover. The Flower of Life represents the origin of all things through sacred geometry. The collaboration of numbers, shapes, and vibration belongs to the oldest myths of mankind.
