The Meinl Classics Custom 14" Dual Hi-Hats combine the balanced nature of B12 bronze alloy with our step-lathe formation process and deep over hammering to deliver a dark and crisp sound enveloped by a warm fundamental character. With the fully lathed and buffed edges along with a dark center, these hihats have a dark attack when played closed and a shimmering, sizzling undertow when played open. Plus, the medium thin top cymbal and medium bottom cymbal weights produce a solid foot chick. The warmth and complexity allow these hihats to sit lower in the mix when needed, and they can jump to life when the energy lifts.
