The 22" Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Thin Ride Cymbal is dry, dark, warm, complex, responsive, and breathy. This cymbal are very versatile with many applications. As a ride it has a dry stick attack with a mellow warm roar underneath. As a crash it quickly fills the space and then gets out of the way. The unlathed surface, large hammer strokes, and thin weight make this a very expressive cymbal.
