The 24" Meinl Planetary Tuned Gong A#2 Sidereal Moon has a resonate frequency of 227.43Hz (A#2) on an A4=429.33Hz scale. Using the European gong-making traditions, the German-made Meinl Planetary Tuned Gongs use the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of the sun, moon, and planets. Each gong is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency. This gong comes with gong cord.
