The Pearl 14x6.5 Music City Custom Craftsman Select One Of A Kind Solid Maple Snare Drum with Bourbon Barrel Inlay (MCCM1465S/CSCNN) was born from collaboration between Pearl Drums, Belle Meade Bourbon Distillery, and Memphis Drum Shop. This One-Of-A-Kind Snare Drum features an Oak Barrel Inlay crafted from staves of decommisioned bourbon barrels at Belle Meade Bourbon Distillery. This snare drum has a Handcrafted 8mm Solid Maple Shell with Bourbon Barrel Inlay, 6mm Solid Maple Reinforcement Hoops, 45-Degree Bearing Edges, 20 Single-Ended STL100 Lugs in a 10-Lug Configuration, 2.3mm Triple-Flange SuperHoop II Hoops, SR017 Strainer System, 20-Strand Ultrasound Type "I" Snare Wires, Remo Coated Ambassador Batter Drumhead, Remo Clear Ambassador Snare Side Drumhead, Hand-Rubbed Oil Finish, Chrome Hardware, and Pearl Music City Custom Badge.

Presenting Music City Custom Craftsman Select Solid Shell Snares. With Pearl's commitment to constant quality advancement comes the need to experiment. As diverse inlays and new finish techniques are tested, refined, and developed, experimentation becomes inspiration for drums that stray from Pearl's stock recipe Solid Shell models. Each one-of-a-kind Craftsman-Select drum is the result of this creative process and features a finish and inlay combination that is totally unique to its selected shell. As this process yields a very limited array of completed drums, each is the only one of its kind and is only available exclusively through select Pearl Dealers in the USA.

This unique American-made snare drum began as a single plank of pristine hand-selected North American Maple, steam-bent by hand, and precisely milled to a uniform thickness. Solid Maple reinforcement rings are bonded at both top and bottom of the shell interior, and the instrument is then sanded, inspected, and drilled for hardware with CNC precision. Lastly, an artisan finish is applied with coat after coat of hand-rubbed natural oil before the drum is fully assembled, inspected once again, packaged, and ready to ship from Pearl's Music City Custom Shop in Nashville, TN.
